In yet another major win for Nigerian music, the National Basketball Association (NBA) have announced that three Nigerian superstars, Burna Boy, Tems and Rema will headline the NBA All-Star Game 2023 halftime show with an Afrobeats-themed performance.
A statement issued by the NBA further revealed that after the performance, the NBA family will honor LeBron James for becoming the league’s all-time scoring leader.
Prior to tip-off, Post Malone will perform a medley of hits following the first-ever in-arena NBA All-Star Draft, while Vin Diesel will welcome fans to the evening.
Utah native and Grammy nominee, Jewel will sing the U.S. national anthem and Award-winning and platinum-selling artiste, Jully Black will sing the Canadian national anthem on Sunday for the NBA All-Star Game.
This announcement is coming off the back of Pheelz’s recent performance at the Brooklyn Nets stadium where he dazzled fans with his hit singles
