What was meant to be an electrifying start to the new year was a huge nightmare. thousands troop to the beach to watch the african giant do what he does best, but reverse was the case.
burna boy’s show was meant to start by 6pm, but did not start till 10pm which was opened by the mc and dj. this ran till like past 12am preparing the crowd for his entrance.
however, things took a different turn as there was inactivity for hours, as many could not decipher if the grammy award winner was even at the venue.
he eventually mounted the stage unbothered, and was welcomed with boos. trust him not to tender an apology and didn’t fail to remind them of their accusations in the past.
after waiting for 8 hours for a 1 hour performance, burna boy finally delivered his hit songs and the show came to an end.
