SHOCK As Woman Spots Her ‘Dead Husband’ In Restaurant Promo Video

Despite the fact that her spouse passed away in 2014, a woman claimed to have noticed him in an Indian restaurant’s advertising film.

Social media has been swamped with comments over the video, which the restaurant, Spice Cottage in Westbourne, West Sussex, said was filmed earlier this month.

The venue posted the video on January 16 with a caption that said: ‘

“New year, new mood! For the last few weeks, we’ve been working hard to make our dining experience even more memorable.

“Join us for a perfect blend of exquisite flavours, with classical and unique dishes inspired by ancient family recipes.”

It was posted to the restaurant’s Facebook page, where Lucy Watson commented: ‘How old is the footage? My late husband and his son are on the first shot and he died in 2014??’

The restaurant responded: “Hi Lucy Watson, sorry to hear this. This footage was recorded last week.”

In an interview with Mail Online, Watson claimed she could plainly see her late husband Harry, who passed away in 2014 from cancer, dining out with his son Alex.

“The moment I saw the thing I thought ‘Oh my God, that’s Harry.’ It was so instant. I didn’t even have to think,” she told the publication.

“He’d be eating a chicken korma because that’s all he ever ate. There was no doubt in my mind it was my husband. I couldn’t pause the thing so I had to replay it about 30 times and each time I was surer and surer.”

She said she was “totally bemused” by the restaurant’s claim the footage was filmed last week, insisting it “can’t have been.”

Further complicating matters, The Spice Cottage revealed to 9Honey that the video was shot in January 2023.

The spokesperson said they were responding “on behalf of Spice Cottage as one of the managers.

“In regards to the incident regarding the Lucy Watson comment, we would like to clarify some misunderstandings.

“I run the social media side of the business and recorded a promotional video to portray our new tables and interior refurbishment.

“The refurbishment was completed in early January 2023 and the promotional video highlights these changes. All videos used in the video were recorded w/c 9th January 2023.

“This is a very unusual situation and we hope this clarifies any confusion,” they added.
