Born in the 80s, Ogunkunle Niyi attended the Federal College of Education (Technical) Akaka, Lagos between 2006 and 2009 from where he obtained NCE, majoring in sculpture with minor in Graphic Design.
He has participated in over 22 group exhibitions such as the African Art resource Centre (AARC), Life in my City Art Festival, ‘De-class exhibition; ‘Ilu Mi’, Celebrating Lagos @ 50, SNA October Rain exhibitions, and a solo Performance Art to his credit.
He is the present Public Relations Officer of SNA Lagos. Ogunkunle is a qualified Visual Art teacher who teaches at the Western College Yaba, Lagos State, which won the 4th position in NNPC/Chevron National Competition (2014) and 3rd position in Pal Pension Secondary School Competition in 2017.
His works have also been featured in online exhibitions such Manikarnika Art Gallery.
