A Ghanaian music producer, Breggle Acha Derrick has said that dating a Nigerian woman is like taking care of an orphan.
The Music producer in a Twitter post said that being in a relationship is now complicated because it’s difficult to know whether the person you want to date needs love or help.
He added that one immediately gets into trouble when they tell their Nigerian girlfriends that they love them because the women will begin to bring up different financial problems.
Reacting to his comment, Morayo shared that the tweet is painful because all the people she has ever dated in her life didn’t really buy her anything. “I was not very demanding, I had that thinking of 50,50 mentality. If you have I have”. she added
Neyma however commented that she has sat with a few young girls and she will not disagree with what the Ghanaian producer had said. With this new generation, we have really damaged girls’ dignity with that mentality around. Young girls now use phones they can’t afford and they must use them at the time they use them.
