Canadian singer Celine Dion has announced that she has been diagnosed with a life-altering Neurological disorder called the ‘Stiff person syndrome’ She said that the spasms from this disease have been affecting her daily living.
She revealed this devastating news through a video on her Instagram.

She admits that she misses her fans but her shows are being postponed till next year while some had to be canceled. For now, she’s focused on recovery and recuperating.
Despite the diagnosis, Dion remains optimistic and has stated that she will continue to perform as much as possible. She has also thanked her fans for their support and understanding during this tough time.
“It has been a difficult and challenging time for me, but with the love and support of my family, friends, and fans, I am doing my best to push through and continue to perform,” Dion said.
Stiff-person syndrome (SPS) is a rare acquired neurological disorder characterized by progressive muscle stiffness (rigidity) and repeated episodes of painful muscle spasms.
Symptoms may include stiff muscles in the arms, and legs; and greater sensitivity to noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off muscle spasms.
