Actor, Yul Edochie Openly Apologies to his First Wife. 

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie openly apologized to his first wife May Edochie for getting married to a second wife. Yul Edochie in his message admits to hurting May and also assured her that no one would take her place.

Earlier this year, Yul Edochie received a lot of backlash from his Fans and other celebrities after sharing a picture of his baby boy and a new wife who happens to be his colleague in the movie industry. He made this announcement through his Instagram page. 

The actor later shared a video on his Facebook page giving reasons for his polygamous act. Yul Edochie had also made several tweets and posts to justify his actions. In one of his posts. He said,

“I am a proud polygamist, God has directed me to do it and it is a blessing for May”.

May Edochie also made her stance clear through her Instagram post. She said

“However, I am ABSOLUTELY certain that I will not be NUMBERED as a wife or be cajoled to accept a practice that does not align with my faith and family values,” she wrote in the post.

Yul Edochie has finally penned down an open message of apology to his wife via his Instagram. He posted a picture of May with a very long caption,

“To my dear wife, Queen May Yul Edochie, I acknowledge that I hurt you deeply and I have apologized to you countless times. I take the blame for my actions. I agree that polygamy shouldn’t be forced on anyone. You never bargained for it from the beginning neither did I, but I guess life happens. You already know the whole story, I didn’t do it to disrespect you, I didn’t do it to replace you not because I do not love you anymore, no. I have always loved you and always will. I’ve been a good husband and a wonderful father……………”
