American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift has become the first artiste in music history to occupy the entire top ten spots on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart.
Taylor Swift accomplished this record-breaking feat with ten songs off her latest album, Midnights thereby pushing rapper Drake, who achieved nine of the Top 10 slots for one week in 2021.
Reacting to the achievement, Taylor Swift replied to a post on Twitter by Billboard which read, “@taylorswift13 scores one of the most historic weeks in @billboardcharts history, as she becomes the first artist to claim the #Hot100’s entire top 10 in a single week.”
The singer wrote, “10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES.”
Taylor Swift has also dethroned The Beatles for the crown of most titles from the top of the Hot 100 in a single week.
Her song ‘Anti-Hero’ leads the way at number one, giving the singer/songwriter her ninth chart-topper since she first came onto the pop culture scene in 2006.
Not only that, but Taylor Swift also took the crown from Madonna for the top 10’s among female artists, as she now has forty top 10 songs, surpassing Madonna’s thirty-eight hits, thereby trailing behind Drake, who has amassed fifty-nine top 10 hits songs.
