The KimYe divorce saga seems to be over as Kim and Kanye have officially ended their marriage.
According to reports, the SKIMS founder and the rapper have finalized their split, with both coming to an agreement about child custody and property arrangements.
It is stated that though both have waived spousal support, Kanye will have to pay two hundred thousand dollars a month in child support for their four kids. He will also be responsible for half of the children’s medical, educational and security expenses including tuition.
Property and other assets previously owned by the now estranged couple will also be divided, and this is according to their pre-nuptial agreement.
Kanye will give Kim the four-point five-million-dollar house he bought next door to her own property in their divorce settlement, as he will keep his sixty-million-dollar home on the beach in Malibu, two ranches in Wyoming, three hundred acres in Calabasas, a home in Belgium, and his childhood home which he bought in Chicago, while Kim will retain the property she owns in Idaho and the sixty million dollars Hidden Hills estate that she and her kids call home.
Regarding custody, the two are said to have equal physical and legal access to their children, as Kim and Ye have agreed to settle any potential disputes that may arise about them via mediation. However, if either party fails to take part, the other is allowed to make the decision in a dispute by default.
Kim and Kanye started dating in 2012 and got married in May 2014. The reality star filed for divorce from the rapper in February 2021. However, the documents list December 26, 2020, as their separation date.
Just so you know, the settlement still needs to be signed off by a judge, and once that happens, the divorce is officially finalized.
Last December, Kim asked a judge to declare her legally single and to revert back to her maiden name, after previously going by Kim Kardashian West and nine months ago she was ruled legally single.
