Celebration in any way or kind is forever important. How we choose to be celebrated is what differs. the question here is, how would you prefer to be celebrated, in public or private?
A lady came out to share that her boyfriend doesn’t post her on social media and during her birthday, he will on post her on a private story. She wrote,
“Why does my boyfriend never post me on social media he says happy birthday to everyone else on his main story but on mine he just posted it on his private which could have had just me in it?”
In reply to her question, Catherine Cullen a private practice Attorney wrote
“I can think of two possible reasons off the top of my head.
One is he is a gentleman and therefore respects your privacy and doesn’t want to parade your relationship on social media.
The other possibility is that he’s a cad and conceals your relationship in order to allow himself other (ahem!) opportunities.
I’m sure there are many other possible reasons. However, you’re not going to find out what any of them are by asking strangers on the internet who don’t know the first thing about either one of you.
Ask your boyfriend why. And when he answers, listen with all your senses. Including your “gut.”
Reacting to the now-trending post, Winfrey Dania Okolo of Wake Up Nigeria said, ” On my birthday my husband didn’t post me and it pained me. he posted me on his story but did not post me on his main page.”
