She specialises in Bridal wear and bespoke outfits that are stylish, in vogue and classy. Currently, they cater for women both locally and internationally.

ALLURE by Mariebabs was birthed as a sister brand in 2018 out of the need to cater for everyday wear for women. Fashion to us is to express innate beauty and also add value to humanity.

Speaking about what it was like starting her bridal event dresses Mariam said it’s really crazy, you have to do it well and put in your all because you don’t want somebody’s big day. You dint want a bride crying.

While growing, you start employing people, we have a manager who manages the production aspect, and we have people who check the finishing etc to help make certain things are done and make it less stressful.

As it is right now we have a lot of fashion designers, the competition out there is crazy so you have to bring in your A-game, you have to be ready to work and give.

You have to be able to work with trends and be unique because even with trends there’s a way you can tweak it a little and make it unique.
