Nigerian-American singer and actor, Olurotimi Akintosho, and fiancée, Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee, have announced that they are expecting their second child together.

The couple revealed exclusively to PEOPLE earlier this week that Vanessa was pregnant with a baby girl.
In a statement, they said, “We’re excited to announce that our baby girl is on the way. What a beautiful testament to GOD’s favour. We are overjoyed.”
The couple also announced the good news with a cute gender reveal video on their respective Instagram pages, where Rotimi released an umbrella, raining pink confetti which means they are expecting a girl.
Rotimi captioned the video writing, “Baby #2!!! It’s a girl!”, while Vanessa on her own page wrote, “Baby No. 2. GLORY TO GOD… It’s a girl.”

Just so you know, Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee are already parents to a son, Seven Adeoluwa, whom they welcomed in September 2021.
They started dating after meeting in New Orleans at an Essence Festival after-party after which they became “inseparable ever since,” as Rotimi put it and on the 30th of December 2020, he proposed in Atlanta.
