Tony Elumelu, the chairman of United Bank of Africa (UBA) Plc, says he is where he is today because of luck and this has sparked hot reactions online.
In a Twitter thread on Monday, the 59-year-old entrepreneur shared his two cents on the essential ingredients one needs to be successful in life.
According to him “luck is important” but that doesn’t make it a “substitute for hard work or labor”.
He also said “hard work and passion” are the two most important “ingredients for luck”.
