Fans Fire Nigerian Reporter For Not Knowing The Name Of Black Panther Star

Recently, the Lagos, Nigeria, premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever took place, and top actors from the film attended. Letitia Wright, who plays the main character in the movie, was also present in Lagos for the occasion.

However, Letitia encountered an intriguing Nigerian reporter who didn’t appear to recognize her.

Letitia was spotted on the black carpet responding to inquiries from reporters when an NTA reporter inquired about her identity in a video that has gone viral.

In the trending clip, the reporter said to Letitia: “What’s your name again?” To that, the Hollywood star expressed her surprise at the question and even repeated it to be sure she heard it correctly. Letitia replied: “What’s my name? My name is Letitia Wright and I play Princess Shuri”.

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian stylist and fashion influencer Toyin Lawani aka Tiannah Empire has come under massive fire at home and abroad for a huge blunder made on the outfit of ex-BBNaija housemate Hermes at the Black Panther premiere in Lagos, Nigeria.

The cape paid tribute to the late Black Panther movie lead actor Chadwick Boseman. The stylist however got the spelling wrong with ‘Chad Bosewick’.

While some had first tried to defend her, Toyin lost all hope of redemption when a video of her appeared in which she was heard calling the famous star “Chad Bosewick.”

“Wakanda can never be the same without ‘Chad Boswick’” she had said.

Many have blamed Toyin, Hermes, and her entire team for the serious error and questioned how it went undetected until it was exposed to millions of viewers.
