Uzoamaka Onuoha has appeared in several films, television and theatre productions.
You would see her in released film projects such as DIICHE a Showmax Original taking on the titular character, INSIDE-LIFE series Directed by Clarence Peters, SCHOOLED for Ndanitv, Omugwo for multi-choice talent factory to mention but a few.
Uzoamaka played a lead in the stage production titled Folly of Men directed by Joshua Alabi and Emotan directed by William Benson and Chapters by Maduegbunapl to which she received positive reviews.
Uzoamaka Onuoha’s ability to Act, sing and dance has been recognized by the association of theatre and film studies student association UNN with the recognition of best actor (female category).
Talking about when she discovered the expressive part of her Uzoamaka said, “When I was a child, I was very energetic and always performing. I started performing in secondary school in front of my classmate and I was advised to go into theatre act and I read that In school.
Going through the theatre act, the dream was Hollywood, the global audience and I needed to start from somewhere which is where I am at Nollywood so it was a no-brainer for me, it went straight and keep pushing…
I am so thankful for old Nollywood because thanks to them the industry is growing now at a fast pace.
Apart from going to school to read theatre art, I would say I am also blessed with the talent and yea you don’t actually have to go to school to read this course or pursue it but during the king run everything is evolving, you have to grow and learn a new technique and learn about yourself.
Drop old habits, and pick up new ones. Training is very important because even after school, I still went to film school again to still study that. Yiu can never learn enough so I would still pursue my education.
