He is the writer, producer and star of the hit series RICORDI and also the writer of the action blockbuster ‘BROTHERHOOD‘.
In 2022, He was nominated for The prestigious Future Awards Africa in the film category.
What do you think you’re going to be like in the next 5 years?
At the rate at which the filmmaking industry is growing, the attention of international bodies on us, I think so far so good considering where we have come so far, in the next five years I see great things happening, much more investments and bigger projects like Brotherhood and projects that are twice as big as that. The future is bright for Nollywood.
How were you able to work with the team on the risk of some scenes?
We had a conversation while writing and decided to write just beautiful scenes, we didn’t think of financial restrain, execution or production.
We just decided to allow our imagination to run wild and that’s how we were able to not restrain ourselves because when you are a producer in Nigeria and you are writing, you tend to think of the risk etc but we just put that aside and wrote what we thought would be a blockbuster.
