Six years after her critically acclaimed album ‘ANTI’, Robyn Fenty popularly known as Rihanna has taken a much needed hiatus from releasing any solo music as she delved into other business ventures which include her thriving fashion and beauty empire.
Now she is making her come back to the scene with a single which is the soundtrack for Marvel movie, ‘Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever’.
Rihanna teased a video of the track via her Twitter page, while captioning the post, “Lift me up. 10.28.2022.”
Rihanna co-wrote “Lift Me Up” with Nigerian singer Tems; music producer and Swedish composer Ludwig Goransson; and Black Panther’s director, Ryan Coogler.
The track was written as a tribute to the lead star of the first Black Panther film, Chadwick Boseman who played T’Challa.
