The ex-wife of Dr Femi Olaleye has come out to finally share the story of what actually went wrong between her ex-husband and her niece.
Recall that in early September, Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw had accused Dr Femi Olaleye, the founder of Optimal Healthcare Company of molesting his wife’s niece for more than two years.
The actress had collaborated with Dr Femi Olaleye in an advocacy role for years after he contacted her and urged her to join his medical foundation as a campaigner against cancer.
Inquiring about Dr Femi’s wife, who wasn’t there, Kate said that she had recently attended one of the advocacy events where women were to receive free screenings.
She described how Dr. Femi tried to demonize his wife while telling her that they were separated.
According to Kate, the doctor claimed that his wife was the one who set him up by bringing in a 15-year-old who Olaleye portrayed as a woman and having intercourse with him since she knew his weakness.
Kate admitted that she was unaware that the “lady” in question is actually the wife’s niece, a 15-year-old kid.
Later, she got the information from Dr. Femi’s wife, who told her that the girl was a virgin who had been deflowered by the doctor before being threatened to conceal it.
Kate claimed that after reprimanding Dr. Femi for his behaviour, he replied to her message and denied disclosing to her that he had had intercourse with the child.
Kate criticized the doctor on Instagram and demanded that he confess to her, saying that she would not let him get away with it.
Kate Henshaw wrote
“I have always advocated ZERO TOLERANCE on gender-based violence and child abuse. My stance will never change as long as I live…@drfemi I have supported your work for many years…I have been to your home and celebrated your birthday with you and your family…
“Calling me a liar after admitting to my face what you did smacks of disrespect to my person…You molested a minor… This may not even be your first time…I am calling on all others whom you have assaulted to come forward and make sure that you pay for the crimes you have committed.”
