Tiffany Haddish Says She Lost Everything Over Səxual Abuse Lawsuit

American stand-up comedian and actor Tiffany Haddish is slightly relieved after the lawsuit against her and fellow comedian, Aries Spears alleged child sexual abuse has been dismissed.

While speaking with TMZ at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Tiffany Haddish explained she is relieved the suit is dismissed but said it hurt her career.

When asked if any damage was done to her career, although it’s behind her now, she said, “Oh, I lost everything. All of my gigs are gone. Everything is gone.”

Just so you know, earlier last week, the plaintiff identified as Jane Doe filed to dismiss the case with prejudice. The dismissal of the case is however coming after rumours of a possible settlement.

In the lawsuit, both Tiffany and Aries were accused of grooming and molesting Jane Doe and her younger brother when they were fourteen and seven years old for a Funny or Die sketch in 2013.

The court document stated that Haddish coerced a fourteen-year-old girl into starring in a sexually suggestive skit in which she taught the girl how to simulate oral sex.

The girl also claims that her seven-year-old brother was taken to a home where the sketch, titled ‘Through a Pedophile’s Eyes,’ was filmed, as he was also allegedly molested by Haddish and Spears.

The accuser now twenty-two years old released a statement regarding the dismissal, saying, “My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years, and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best, and we can all put this behind us.”

It’s however unclear what jobs Tiffany Haddish has lost, as she was confirmed to appear in ‘Girl Trip 2,’ starring alongside Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith.

In August, Regina Hall confirmed on an appearance on Good Morning America that filming hadn’t started due to scheduling conflicts.
