Breakfast is the most important part of the meal and the body absorbs nutrients faster and better since the body will be craving energy. Breakfast can be eaten from 7 am to 9 am or within two hours of getting up
However, a breakfast platter refers to the way breakfast is served and displayed either on a table or on a buffet line.
Serving trays allow for a pleasing presentation of the food and allow a number of different people to take from the platter and put the food on their own plates.
Today’s breakfast platter will consist of pancakes, French toast and coleslaw.f
A pancake is a flat cake, often thin and round, prepared from a starch-based batter that may contain eggs, milk and butter and cooked on a hot surface such as a griddle or frying pan, often frying with oil or butter. It is a type of batter bread.
While French toast is a dish made of sliced bread soaked in beaten eggs, sugar and typically milk, then pan-fried.
However, coleslaw also known as cole slaw, or simply as slaw, is a side dish consisting primarily of finely shredded raw cabbage with a salad dressing or condiment, commonly either vinaigrette or mayonnaise.
