Easy-going Allysyn describes herself as “a creative goofball who enjoys experiencing people”.
She enjoys watching movies, modelling, hanging out with friends and making her own lip gloss, when she is not hard at work as a Sales and Marketing Executive for a popular vehicle brand.
Exclusive Interview with #BBNaija’s Allyson
She considers herself a loyal friend and expects the same energy from those closest to her. As a “huge fan of love”, Allysny is currently in a relationship and enjoys “how love helps me see myself in a new light every day”.
Is it true that you invested all your money in furniture to start a Youtube Channel?
The thing is I had an idea before the lockdown happen, I wanted to like have a show with guests so I used all my savings to buy furniture and set but when covid happen I couldn’t do anything. I had the furniture in my house but nothing to do with it, just me staring at it.
How was the big brother house for You?
The house was very intense, I had a lot of dun in the house but there were also a lot of intense moments, you will get easily overwhelmed but overall it was fun and exciting.
Did you have a strategy going into the house and were able to achieve everything that you set out for?
Zero, I had no strategy, I was going there to be myself like 100, I was just going with the vibe, I was going there to have fun, like the first time to be away from no family. I was going there to chill, be myself and have fun and do what I wanted to do for myself and that’s what I did.
Why did you decide you wanted to go for Big Brother?
I always wanted to be in the creative entertainment space, I always knew I wanted to do Tv, Youtube, modelling etc. I wanted to always be there but then I was now working a 9-5 so I was not exactly expressing myself as much as I could so when I saw the opportunity I was like let me just try.
Last year, I already recorded a video but I didn’t submit it because I was not ready to do that this year, I felt like it was time, I just felt very ready so I went to do it. However, i couldn’t believe it until I was on stage with Ebuka
How does your pastor mum feel about your going to Big Brother?
I told my mum two days before I went into the house, I didn’t want any kind of “I am not sure you should do it etc” so I didn’t tell her but I told my siblings when I then told her she had some sort of set back and she like, she’s not sure I should do it.
How was your relationship with Hermes?
Hermes is a very interesting person, he has a very interesting personality and I think that was what drew me to him, the fact that you can’t predict what he is going to do, everything about him was what drew me to him and I think it is a connection I can’t even explain.
How do you feel about him having two girlfriends already
I totally understood the dynamic in the house, going into the house I was just going to enjoy and live in the moment, I wasn’t thinking too far, I was just trying to just leave at the moment
Would you like ti to continue something with him?
Well, as much as I understand this dynamic and I respect it, I just feel like its not for me right now because I went into the house to go and blow so I have a lot of things I want to do right now and I really need to focus on it now
Where does your friendship with Doyin stand right now?
We are still very close, I am not going to push Daniella and Doyin on each other but I feel like I can still have a close friendship with each other differently.
