American singer/songwriter Britney Spears has opened up about the strained relationship involving herself and her two sons.
In a series of audio clips posted on her Instagram page, Britney addressed her estrangement from her two sons, sixteen-year-old Sean and fifteen-year-old Jayden, whom she shares with ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
Britney said, “I used to have my kids, at one point, more than Kevin. People don’t remember that part because they always focus on the negative, but when they were six to nine years old, I had them seventy per cent of the time. Since they’ve been gone, I’ve honestly felt like a huge part of me has died.”
She continued, “Like literally, I have no purpose anymore. They were my joy; they were my everything … that was what I lived for.
“And then all of a sudden, they were gone, and I was like, oh my God, did my heart just stop beating? Honestly, I don’t understand how it’s just so easy for them just to cut me off like that. I don’t understand it.”
This is however not the first time Britney will be vocal over her sons taking sides with her ex-husband and her family.
If you would recall, just last week, we spoke about how hurt Britney was when she revealed that she doesn’t believe in God anymore over the interview one of her sons’ granted stating that he doesn’t want to see her until she is mentally stable.
She said, “God would not have allowed that to happen to me if God existed. I don’t believe in God anymore because of the way my children and my family have treated me.”
