The drama involving Britney Spears and her family continues, as she has revealed that she is now an atheist.
Following a controversial interview her ex-husband Kevin Federline and their son Jayden had, the singer recently released an audio recording giving details about her relationships with her sons, Jayden and Sean Preston, and her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
If you would recall, Kevin Federline who has sole custody of both their kids claimed in the interview that Britney’s sons don’t want to see her as they have avoided her for months, a claim the singer slammed.
In a rather shocking twist, Britney’s fifteen-year-old son, Jayden corroborated his father’s statement but said there is still hope that his relationship with his mother can be mended.
In an interview with ITV News, Jayden said, “I 100% think this can be fixed. It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better, I really want to see her again.”
Addressing his mum directly, he said, “I love you a lot and I hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down and talk again and have a normal conversation.”
Jayden Federline also defended his grandparents, Britney’s father and mother, saying his grandfather doesn’t deserve all the hatred he is getting in the media. He also expressed support for his grandmother, Lynne, who Britney Spears has accused of backing the conservatorship.
Britney who was hurt that her son took sides with her ex and parents in a three-minute recording said, “I can totally understand why my family would have a problem with me doing my own thing, maybe because I never have.”
Her statement is in reference to the thirteen years she was under a conservatorship that gave her father, Jamie Spears, control over aspects of her life, including her finances and medical decisions.
