Tom Cruise’s new movie, Top Gun: Maverick has continued to break records since its box office release in May this year.
Another feat this sequel has is that it has now earned six hundred and seventy-nine million dollars in North America, making it the sixth-highest grossing film of all time at the domestic box office.
What this means is that the movie Top Gun: Maverick’ has now knocked Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War to the seventh position; after it earned six hundred and seventy-eight point eight million dollars in 2018.
According to Forbes, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ has earned one point thirty-seven billion dollars globally, and it is expected to gross five point forty-four million dollars this weekend to take it to a new total of six hundred and eighty-three million dollars.
And if it eventually happens, the movie will be getting closer to Black Panther which earned seven hundred point four million dollars in 2018.
Top Gun: Maverick is a 2022 American action drama film, which is the sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun, starring Tom Cruise who plays Pete Mitchell, who after more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, he is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him.
