Why are you giving us this sort of news?
“What you see depends on where you stand. Are you standing on the mumu side or the deeper end? Words may be frivolous sometimes but my words have a deeper meaning.
I was only trying to talk to the people who feel like marriage is work. Yes, marriage na work but if you’re not ready to do the time then why bother? Because some people think that when marriage becomes too cumbersome then the love is no longer there, no.
Everybody from time to time is allowed to get tired just like we are all tired of Nigeria but what would we do? You have to watch and see the end.
There are so many things that cause this tiredness, it can be your environment and these days when men are not like they used to be before because of the economic situation. Nobody can say they are not affected by this kind of toxic environment that we are living in.
It affects the brain sometimes so if someone like me comes out and say, I am tired, do you know what I was feeling and going through at that time? I could be feeling lonely because my wife and kids and not around.
Why will anyone think it’s about a breakup? Am I all these social media boys? After 45 years so you think it’s social media I will come and end it? Marriage na hard labour o, I have seen pepper inside this marriage but what will I do? We all die here. Everyone is supposed to get married.”
Why Do You Say So?
“Some people can take it some can’t. Marriage is a lot of compromises, commitment, patience and gbas gbos. It’s the reward that you get. Now, what’s the reward?
The reward is companionship, Somebody that you can grow old with, someone who can take care of you because, during old age, men suffer the most.”
