After twenty-five years of marriage, American actor & filmmaker Sylvester Stallone and his model wife Jennifer Flavin are going their separate ways.
According to a petition filed at a court in Palm Beach County, Florida, Jennifer is seeking for dissolution of marriage and other relief.
Sylvester Stallone’s Wife Files For Divorce
The model who wants to restore her last name, Flavin is also accusing the actor of moving assets from their marital funds, as she wants a judge to put the brakes on him moving any more assets.
The divorce documents also reveal that she wants exclusive domain over their house in Palm Beach while the divorce proceedings go through the courts.
After filing for divorce, Jennifer Flavin took to Instagram to post a photo with the three daughters she and Sylvester share, writing, “These girls are my priority, nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever. #Truth #Family #Forever”
In a statement to PEOPLE, Sylvester Stallone said, “I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.”
Just so you know, fans already sensed that there was trouble in the marriage, when Sylvester covered up the tattoo of Jennifer’s face on his arm with an image of his dog.
This news of the pair’s split is coming three months after they celebrated their silver wedding anniversary, where they marked the milestone occasion with respective Instagram tributes to each other.
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin got married in 1997, though their relationship originally began in 1988 at a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.
They both share three daughters, Scarlet, Sistine, and Sophia, while Stallone is also a father to son Seargeoh from his previous marriage to Sasha Czack.
His oldest son Sage, whom he shares with Starlin Wright, died in 2012.
