After celebrating his eightieth birthday, the death rumours pertaining to veteran actor Olu Jacobs are back making the rounds.
Debunking the news, veteran actress and wife of Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva took to her Instagram page via her Insta Story writing, “Good day everyone, trust all is going well.
The Jacobs clan would love to inform you that Papa J (Olu Jacobs MFR) is alive and well. Enjoying himself as always in his home and loved ones.”
She continued, “To all those who have decided to ignore our last warning regarding fake news kindly prepare for legal action. Singed House Jacobs.”
If you would recall, this is not the first time the actress would be debunking the rumours of her husband’s death.
Just last year, Joke Silva debunked the reports and clarified that the iconic actor was enjoying a nice meal at the time.
“Don’t mind them, they’re just talking rubbish; don’t disturb your head. He is in the living room right now about to have Eba and Ogbono soup. Let them keep deceiving themselves. He is hale and hearty” she had said.
Joke Silva also revealed in an exclusive interview that Olu Jacobs has been battling dementia, in what she called dementia with Lewy body.
“He is dealing with issues and it is been going on for a couple of years. It is known as dementia with Lewy body,” she said.
