Blaqbonez, a rapper from Chocolate City, stated that it is hard for any musician to work in the music business without smoking Igbo (an illegal drug in Nigeria).
Blaqbonez implied that all musicians can’t help using drugs when he made the statement in a post on Twitter.
His claim sparked responses, with several users disagreeing and mentioning Nigerian performers who are probably not smokers.
He wrote:
“Not smoking igbo is almost impossible in this music industry”.
Blaqbonez disagreed with a user who claimed that Fireboy was not an illicit drug smoker.
Naira Marley and Burna Boy, according to another, don’t smoke.
