Hot Reactions to Kizz Daniel’s Tanzania Concert Drama

There’s been a lot of reactions as the organisers of the Summer Amplified Show in Tanzania arrested ‘Buga’ hitmaker, Kizz Daniel for failing to perform at the well-publicised show on Sunday night.

While they were different sides to the story, the Ace singer, has finally spoken about his ordeal in a press conference in Tanzania

The hits maker confirmed that he was contracted to perform at a show in the country but couldn’t make it due to some logistics and delays in flights from neighbouring connecting countries.

He appealed to all the fans that got disappointed by what happened and promised to do a free make-up show for them.

However, the promoter admitted that the singer tried to salvage the situation and also meet with fans to apologize and postpone the show after arriving for the event 1 hour before his performance, following an 8-hour flight delay in Kenya.

On Daddy Freeze’s question on why he claimed Kizz Daniel refused to perform because of his gold chain, Steve defended himself by saying “emotions were high that night.”

During the session, After the singer’s brother disclosed that he was not paid in full, Steven claimed that the $60,000 he said earlier was paid, was not paid to Kizz Daniel directly but to an agency managed by music executive, Paul Okoye.

Nevertheless, reacting to the incident, Titi Dynamite of Wake Up Nigeria on TVC said,

“When people are in the public eye, artists, and celebrities, they often end up getting the short end of the stick if things go wrong.

Especially when they kind of have history in a certain area so they have been cases of him postponding and cancelling events before which is why it was sort of easy for people to say, not again but, it just really sad that sometimes the one that they call you out for is the one that you actually did not do wrong.

Promoters as well needs to be held accoungtable because they are the ones that collectyed the miney for tickets, they are the middle men between artists or the fan.”

But then again, lets imagaine this was a big event like the 02 arena, wembly staduim etc, would such excuses, and unprofessionalism happen?
