Let’s start by understanding what snack is. Snack is a light meal : food eaten between regular meals.

It is advisable that when eating your snacks it should be in a small quantity and healthy.
Here are some healthy snacks
- Mixed nuts. Nuts are an ideal nutritious snack, providing the perfect balance of healthy fats, protein, and fiber
- Red bell pepper with guacamole
- Greek yogurt and mixed berries
- Apple slices with peanut butter
- Cottage cheese and fruit.
- Celery sticks with cream cheese.

- Dark chocolate and almonds
Consume a variety of foods, such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, and whole grains. At least five pieces (400g) of fruit and vegetables should be consumed each day by adults.
Always include vegetables in your meals, snacking on fresh fruit and vegetables, eating a variety of fruits and vegetables, and eating them in season, you can increase the amount of fruits and vegetables you consume.
