Osun state is still in focus because as Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of interior and APC chieftain was seen in a viral video yelling as a Nigerian guy recorded him at a restaurant in the United States of America.
The unnamed individual asked, “Are you not Aregbesola?” as he approached the former governor of Osun state in the restaurant and started recording him.
The man was first offered a seat by the minister, who was clearly embarrassed by his behavior, before being instructed to stop filming.
The guy confronted the minister, claiming that even the President of American, Joe Biden couldn’t prohibit him from filming in a public space because he was in the US.
Reacting to the news Morayo ‘Your View’ said, according to a lawyer, its not a crime because it’s a public place except you want to make money off it. However, the fact that he was harassed it’s the problem.

Shina Balogun a twitter user wrote,
“I live here in the US, you can’t just walk up to any individual in a restaurant and start recording him.
It is wrong. An African American or a white guy holding gun would have shot him. Aregbesola should sue him.”
Another user, Olusegun Iselaiye wrote,
“This is for those of you saying Aregbesola should sue Koiki Media to court for recording him.
May I remind you that recording is allowed in a pub. He will lose the case and even pay damages if he goes to court on this matter. US laws allow pub recording of anyone! Go verify.”
Dr Pat Ashinze wrote on Twitter,
“The man that made the viral, unconsenting video of Aregbesola in the US is a full-fledged idiot. It was an infringement of Aregbesola’s privacy and human right
“Forget the angst and hate we all have towards APC and the ruling class. Aregbesola did not deserve such humiliation!”
Do you think the man was right to had record Aregbesola without his permission?
