Nick Cannon still has love for ex-wife Mariah Carey, despite their divorce and several brief relationships after that.
The ‘Wild N’ Out’ star revealed this during an appearance on The Hot Tee Talk Show hosted by IG star HiMyNameIsTee, during a game on the show called ‘Spin The Block.’
Nick Canon Says He Will Never Have A love Like He Did With Ex-Wife Mariah Carey
Nick Cannon said,
“I truly respect her, the relationship that she’s been in for quite some time, and you know dude is amazing with my kids, and we got family gatherings…
I truly respect her, but c’mon, that’s my fantasy love. That’s somebody I will always love.”
He continued, “I will never have a love like I have with Mariah. And I appreciate that. And that’s the thing, where the issue sometimes with spinning the block… sometimes the fantasy of spinning the block, it’ll never be what you think it’ll be.”
Nick said he would hesitate getting back with Mariah on the chance they would mess up their ‘fairy tale’ connection.
He said, “It was literally like a fairy tale with Mariah so I’d rather it be that way and I appreciate that fantasy because if I tried to go back and it wasn’t the same, like damn, I messed it up.”
He added, “But, if I had the opportunity to, if it could be the way that it was, I’m there! Always be my baby! Don’t forget about us! We belong together! referencing Mariah Carey’s hit songs.
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey tied the knot in 2008 before officially splitting in 2016, and they both share eleven-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan together.
Mariah Carey has since moved on with her former backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, whom she has been dating for six months.
She was formerly engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, until 2016 when it was called off, while Nick Cannon on the other hand is expecting his eight child with model Bre Tiesi.
