Exclusive Interview With Tacha | WakeUpNigeriaOnTVC

Reality Tv star, Businesswoman and influencer, Anita Natacha Akide popularly known as Symply Tacha, from the Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ edition 2019 is here as we get up close and personal with her.

Tacha who is now into movies debut her first lead role in the movie “Tiger’s Tail” produced and directed by Nollywood filmmaker, Victor Okpala.

Talking about how she got to be in the movie and role she said,

“I played the role of Tina, it’s being months and months ago, i mean, i kind of like struggle recalling so much about Tina but it was great.

“I love challenges, I always want to venture into something new, like challenge myself. It was a great route like, it wasn’t as tough as i thought it was going to be but the cast members were really cool especially  Alex.

“He was so nice. He was kind of underground Big Bro and i am really looking forward to watch it like any other person out there”

Talking about what her expectations was and if she thought it would be this easy going into movies she said,

” No definitely not, it wasn’t easy. I mean i got out of the house in 2019 and this is 2022.

“Every interview i have been on i have always been stated that movies is something i wanted to venture into.

“Like i said i always want to challenge myself. I have been in two movies already and it were are just seven months ahead. I am looking forward to more movies but it wasn’t easy getting into this”.

Answering if she has ever been rejected or said no to during cast screening Tacha said,

“Movie is something i and my team have been trying to push. We even got to a point were we like, you have to produce your own movie and then Corona came and threw the whole plan under the bus.

“We are still at the verge of reconnecting back into whats happening in the society right now. Having to do my own movie in 2022 wasn’t something we had on our my list.

“When the director reached out i was like, you know what, i have been wanting to do movies since 2019 and i am so sure about this right now”

Answering the question, ‘if she thinks she had evolved from the Tacha everyone all knew in the BBN house’ she said,

“I have evolved because change is constant and definItely growth is constant as well.

“I would say i have really grown and i am still a ‘no nonsense person’ the only difference is that i am not in the house right now, i am in the real world where people can actually see me not for any narrative but for the actual Tacha that they know and i see a strong resilient black woman.

“Nothing keeps me going more than that. she added”
