Five police escorts linked to Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy have been seized by the Lagos police command for allegedly sh00ting civilians.
According to allegations, police escorts at Club Cubana on Victoria Island, Lagos, opened fire at clubgoers.
They shot two fun-seekers Irebami Lawrence and another person identified simply as Tolu.

According to a preliminary report by the Bar Beach Police Division, trouble started when the singer and five police escorts visited the nightclub around 4 am on June 8.
The singer had visited the club alongside his police escorts around 4 am. The four policemen waited outside while one of the policemen, identified as Inspector Ibrahim, who was in mufti, accompanied Burna boy into the club.
Multiple witnesses claim that the singer had asked Ibrahim to invite a woman to join him in VIP, and the lady’s husband had insisted that it was disrespectful for him to make advances at his wife.
However, after a few minutes, Burna Boy reportedly made fresh advances at her, infuriating the husband and his friends.
Things got heated, Ibrahim is alleged to have shot his service pistol multiple times while Burna Boy laughed.
The shots hit 27-year-old Irebami Lawrence in the thigh and his friend Tolu in the head.
Jide, Irebami’s brother, took to social media to call out the singer out;
“My Guys came to 9ja from England & Usa Respectively 4 a wedding.I invited dem out to club cubana a petty altercation with Burna Boy’s people arose (Cos of woman).
“The next thing Bullets started flying , one got scraped in the head by a bullet and the other one got shot in the leg.”
After the shooting, Burna Boy reportedly left the country for Spain the next day.
