Bread makers and caterers threatened to withdraw their services nationally on Friday owing to an enormous spike in baking materials and the Federal Government’s indifference to the issue.
According to a communiqué published by their national body, the Association of Master Bakeries and Caterers of Nigeria, the cost of wheat, sugar, and other commodities required in the baking sector has soared, placing many bakers out of reach.
