HEADIES: Creating The Category “International Artiste Of The Year” Is As Good As Wasting Of Time

Do you agree that Headies is going astray by trying to get International artistes attention?

Or do you think they don’t need the nominees’ attention or their fans whatsoever? And if that is the case why create what won’t bring any return to you?

Why This Is Not Necessary?

Headies has been getting less credibility after what transpired between Don Jazzy and Olamide in 2016. Nigerian artistes no longer value the award unlike before.

A lot of music enthusiasts have questioned their transparency, choice of selecting nominees and the decision-making on rewarding winners. Some even believe that artistes that attend the show stand more chance of winning.

I think because they are hosting this year show outside Nigeria makes Headies feel like it’s high time to do this nonsense. 😂😂😂

We’ve so many of our artistes not attending the show despite being nominated, that some artistes won’t even show up to receive their awards on stage.

Now adding the category “International Artiste Of The Year” is more like looking at the sky and talking to the Most-High, you know he will never reply.

Did You Think Headies Is Making Any Sense By Adding The “International Artiste Of The Year” Category?
