Just when we thought we were done with Yul Edochie and his marital affair, he has come out to speak for those that care to listen on why he married actress Judy Moghalu as his second wife. See reactions!
Early last month, the 40-year-old actor took his fans and colleagues by surprise when he announce his new wife and son on his Instagram page.
In the post, the actor said it was high time the world met his son, Star Dike Munachimso Yul Edochie, whom he loves much as his other children.
However, after many reactions, the actor has finally come out to talk about why he married a second wife.
He posted a nine-minute video on his Facebook page on Friday titled,
‘Why I married a second wife.’
He said: “It’s been an amazing period of my life; ever since the news that I married a second wife, it has been crazy.”
The actor said he has been receiving calls and messages from fans worldwide since the controversy in his marriage broke out and his family and colleagues deserve to know why he married a second wife.
He said:
“Why I took my decision of marrying a second wife. So, I decided to say why today. I used to hear people say a man cannot love two women at the same time.
“I’ve heard it a couple of time and I’m one of those people who believed it before. And I know a lot of people still believe it as well that a man cannot love two women.
“I used to believe it as well until it happened to me. I realised that, “Never say never”. No matter how old you are in this world. We are all young, we’re still learning. Things can happen, you learn certain things.
“At this point in my life, this is my opinion. I’m entitled to my opinion. My opinion may be wrong to you but it’s my opinion.”
Yul revealed that meeting Judy Austin dispelled the old cliché as he became fully convinced that a man could actually love two women at the same time especially as he couldn’t resist the urge of keeping her after making a lot of impact in his life.
“At this stage in my life, I think it is possible for a man to love two women because two women can contribute differently to the man’s life.
“Someone cannot come into your life and make so much impact, and you just cannot let this person go. Of course, many people would say, as a married man, why did you allow a woman to come into your life. I said I was wrong and took the blame for that.
“These things happen. Let’s be honest. I realised that I could not let an incredible woman leave my life.
“These are very wonderful women in town. They bring different things to the table. You can really love two women at the same time. I thought it was not possible, but now I realise that it is possible.”
Yul married his first wife, May, at the young age of 22, in 2004, after dating for six years.
