However, operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested four suspects over the killing of a young man by commercial motorcyclists in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
According to reports, the victim and his friends became unconscious after being beaten by the motorcyclists before the victim was burnt to death.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed it. He said,
“It is true. Our men acted promptly. Four suspects have been arrested. We have launched a manhunt for others involved.
“The police will ensure prosecution of everyone involved. We will keep advocating against jungle justice. We also urge parents, religious and political leaders to join the advocacy against jungle justice.”
