During a live chat with Fat Joe, Wendy Williams admitted that although she is fond of Sherri, she will not be watching her show.
“I like her, but I won’t be watching her,” she told the rapper, citing, “I know what she’s going to be doing, and that’s really not my thing.”
Wendy also addressed her show being canceled during an interview. She explained that she missed coming to the show, but assured viewers that she would be back.
When asked if she would be starting something new or returning to her old platform, she responded, “I’m coming back to The Wendy Williams Show. Absolutely. Absolutely.”
Reacting to Wendy’s interview, Shepherd took to Instagram live and stated how she felt. “She’s not well,” Shepherd stated,
“I’m not mad at Wendy; she’s going through a lot. I would say that everybody should be praying for Wendy right now,” before adding, “I’m very concerned.”
She continued, “I’m really truly concerned about her because I don’t feel like there’s anybody over there protecting her, and it’s really hard when there’s no protection around you and you just have people hanging on, but I’m not mad at Wendy because she won’t watch my show.”
“I already got a broken shoe. I can’t take on any more stress right now.” She added.
Earlier this year, a source revealed that Wendy Williams suffered underlying health issues with marriage/ financial issues. Due to that, Williams did not return to her hit series, The Wendy Williams Show.
During that time, many celebrities have filled in as guest hosts, such as comedian Sherri Shepherd.
Comedian, Sherri Shepherd, took over for Wendy back in February. Just weeks after she began hosting, producers confirmed that Wendy’s show would be canceled in June, and The Sherri Shepherd Show would launch.
