DMW boss and leader of the 30BG Gang, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has again shut down the London O2 arena with his highly-anticipated event.
The social media space was buzzing on Saturday night with different reactions to the event.
Some reacted over the acclaimed poor production of Davido’s concert at the O2 while other fans came after DJ Ecool for his performance, others were of the opinion that the show wasn’t sold out.
Like always, it became another comparison between Davido and Wizkid with their individual fans siding their fave.
Nevertheless, Davido actually made history as the popular O2 Arena London, was renamed after him for one night.
Announcing this historic moment, the organizers of the show said it was in celebration of the return of the ‘Aye’ crooner to London. He was last in London about three years ago.
Sharing a picture from the concert on his Instagram page on Sunday, Davido stated that he’d post videos of the event all through the week.
In the caption, the “Aye crooner” also hinted at a music tour.
He wrote,
“Success occurs when your dreams get bigger than excuses! Full bowl sold out. I’m posting videos all week!! electrifying!!
“Thank you London and everyone that came out to rock with us. Tour dates on the way!”
