Federal Government is proposing that childbirth should be controlled due to the economic situation of Nigeria, which means there will be a limit to the number of children a Nigerian can have.

Bisi of your view reacted that many have already given birth and a senator in the house of representative have already given birth to 28. We have very limited resources and we need to make sure that every child gets a good education, good housing, good health care etc and the the more we have The less we are able to cater for them

Bisi added that whenever the talk of contraception, family planning and childbirth is on the table, people often focus on the women.

However, if we really are serious in cutting down the rate of childbirth we need to talk to the men. We have to start to talk about men contraceptives.

She advised that the government should put in a policy like, you cannot run for office if you more that five children etc.

But do we want to regulate what we can’t control?
