Nigerian artiste, Maxee known for the hit song ‘Breakfast Na National Cake’ joined us in the studio to talk about the inspiration behind the song and how it went viral.

Maxee revealed that his hit song ‘Breakfast Na National Cake” is base on a true life story. He has been served breakfast.

According to his story, his friend got heart broken, came over to his house and he was like, ‘guy, me self them don break my heart o’ and that’s how he decided to turn his story to a song.

Maxee revealed that when he drop the song, he did’t know it would go viral and as a matter of fact he only had 11 followers on tiktok. Currently ‘Breakfast Na National Cake’ is about 300 thousand on audio mack.

Maxee also gave credit to Donjazzy for helping to influence the song.
