The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has moved its national convention to March 26.
The move was made to allow the party to hold zonal congresses on March 12 across the six geopolitical zones, according to the statement.
It was learnt that the governors protested the indefinite postponement by sending a strong signal to the Mai Mala Buni-led caretaker committee.
