“It’s a boy! We found out yesterday,” Nick said while showing viewers a photo taken at the gender reveal. “Everyone knows I have a lot of children. It’s never a competition. Each one is special.”
Following the news of Nick Cannon expecting another baby, his eighth child, with model Bre Tiesi, Alyssa Scott, whose 5-month-old son with Nick Cannon that died less than two months ago, has spoken up as regards the situation.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Alyssa Scott stated that she didn’t want her beautiful baby boy who died from brain cancer last December to be part of conversations that aren’t in alignment with his light and legacy.
“ … It is painful having my son be a part of conversations that aren’t in alignment with his light and legacy,” she wrote. “
It isn’t something I chose for him or myself. It’s important for me to let you all know.. I am centered, I am at peace.
“I look at everyone’s predicament with loving eyes,” she continued. “I will not judge. I will consciously decide what I will participate in.”
“I am surrounded by love. God, my mom, dad, sister, brother, and daughter continue to carry me,” Alyssa wrote.
She even added that everyone has known since August that Zen wouldn’t make it to 6 months, writing that she was grateful he was in the arms of people that loved him when he passed on.
Nick announcing his eight child has led to people calling Nick Cannon out, with many pointing out that he was already having an affair with Bre while his late son Zen was fighting for his life.
Cannon has six other children with three other women: 10-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey; a 4-year-old son, Golden, and an 11-month-old daughter, Powerful, with Brittany Bell; and 5-month-old twins, Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa.
