On today’s hot topic the ladies discussed the story of Kano school proprietor who k*n@pped his 5-year-old pupil and M*RD*RED her to avoid getting caught
Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko, the proprietor of Noble Kids Academy, a private school in Kano State’s Nassarawa Local Government Area, said on Friday that he killed a five-year-old girl called Hanifa Abubakar with N100 rat poison.
Hanifa was kidnapped late last year in an operation orchestrated by her tutor, Abdulmalik Tanko, the proprietor.
He demanded N6 million in ransom, but after allegedly obtaining N100,000, he murdered Hanifa, a 5-year-old girl.
Abdulmalik, a main suspect in the case, claimed he kidnapped Hanifa because he was in financial trouble and owed money to the owner of the building where the school was housed.
The suspect, a father of two, confessed to the crime when he was paraded in front of reporters at the Bompai police headquarters in Kano on Friday.
The suspect claims that he was paid N100,000 out of the N6 million ransom sought, but that he used the money to pay his teachers.
“Upon investigation by the Police, Abdulmalik confessed that the victim, Hanifa, was his student at a private school in Kwanar Dakata, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State,” the Kano State Police Command’s Spokesperson, Haruna Kiyawa, said in a statement on Friday.
“He kidnapped her and brought her to his house, where he phoned her relatives and demanded a six-million-naira ransom” (N6,000,000).
“On the 18th of December, 2021, he claimed to have poisoned the victim, plotted with one Hashim Isyaku, and buried her in a shallow grave within the private school premises located at Kwanar ‘Yan Gana, Tudun Murtala Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State,” according to the report.
Meanwhile, the Kano State Government has ordered that the institution be closed immediately.
