Starting the new year on a clean slate, Nigerian artiste Burna Boy and Davido seem to have ended their long-time rivalry. In an Instagram post that was put out by Burna Boy just to end the year 2021, the self-acclaimed African Giant wrote, “FYI I have no issues with David. We good now”
He added, “David wasn’t tryna 1 on 1 me but we figured it out. 2022 all of us must love ourselves by force if not make we just kill ourselves. No more middle again, forward ever backward never. This is my last post of the year. God bless us all. Love Damini.”
If you would recall in an interview with Ebuka on Bounce radio, Davido revealed his relationship with Burna Boy went sour after he posted a picture of himself and Wizkid as the Greatest of All Time (GOAT), saying “I just woke up, saw a funny picture on Instagram with me and Wizkid, two goats of all time and I posted it no cap. Apparently, Burna got angry at that.”
Shortly after that post by Davido, Burna Boy also took to his social media platform to write, “Everybody knows you don’t know how to play football, your dad bought the football team.”
Well since then both Davido and Burna Boy have not ceased to take shady jabs at each other publicly, as the jabs could be heard in songs such as FEM by Davido, Way Too Big, and Real Life by Burna Boy.
