Nollywood actress, Shan George has canceled a common social construct that has been used to describe ladies who raise their kids alone. According to the actress, there is nothing like a ‘single mother’ and she revealed that it is just a word used by society to make women feel small about themselves.
She wrote:
“No woman is a single mother. There’s mother and there’s father. Simple. Society is always looking for words to use for people to feel small and inadequate about themselves.”
