Stop defining yourself by the things that are not you, focus on who you are on the inside and nurture that person, because you can’t let your failures, or your success for that matter, dictate how you view yourself as a person.

1. MONEY
Money is good, money is sweet, and most of all money is important, so by all means (legit though) make money oooo, but stop defining yourself by how much money you have or don’t have, money is only a means to an end remember? It has very little to do with who you are as a person.
2. YOUR PAST
Stop associating yourself with who you were when you didn’t know any better, own up to your mistakes and use them to evolve into a better person.
3. YOUR BACKGROUND
We do not get to choose our backgrounds, God made that choice for us, so it doesn’t matter if you come from a messy background, you are not your background, so, take pride in who you are and focus on where you are heading in life.
4. YOUR RELATIONSHIP STATUS
Love is a beautiful thing, and if you are ever lucky to find it, awesome, but a relationship does not validate your existence or define you as a person, so please stop defining yourself by your relationship status.
