Over the weekend, River state Governor, Nyesom Wike bestowed #Burnaboy with the title of the Distinguished Service Staff in Rivers State at the Burna boy Grand Homecoming concert organised by the State Government to celebrate Burna boy’s Grammy win.
A video which trended online, captured the moment when the Governor gifted Burna boy a land in the state, and money to build a house.
He was also captured on video saying;
“All of you that have come today and the Niger Delta people that have come to play today to show the talent you have, I’m very proud of you. All of you will go home with N10million each,”
The N10million naira gift was a problem to many, as people raised concern over workers who are yet to be paid in the state.
