The actor and Instagram sensation got arrested yesterday the 13th of February on the protest ground at Lekki toll gate but later got released the same day after fulling his bail bond. The Occupy Lekki protest was slated to hold to demand justice for slain victims of the 20th October incident that took place last year and to stop the reopening of the Lekki toll gate.
He took to his platform earlier today to share a video where he gave his fans an idea of what he had to pass through, he revealed that he and every other protester that were arrested were thoroughly beaten and treated badly. Mr. Macaronni real name, Debo also revealed that he never collected any money from anyone for taking the action of going to the protest ground that eventually got him arrested.
He later took to his Twitter page to reveal his take on the ongoing insecurity crisis.
He wrote:
“The Hausa man is my brother, so is the Igbo man and The Yoruba man. We are all one. The Government and the Government alone is responsible for any insecurity in Nigeria and it is their duty to protect all Nigerians. I plead for peace. We will come back to my matter later.”
